The time control is 3 minutes + 2 seconds increment per move. This is the same time as is used by FIDE for example in the recent World Blitz Championship in Moscow.

There are sixteen players participating in this final. There will be four groups playing a double Round Robin in the preliminary round. Two players from each group qualify for the Quarter finals. If two playes end up with the same score, the ranking goes as follows:

1) most victories
2) the results of the players involved in the tie
3) score against other players in the group from the top
4) if everything else is equal it will be decided by Armageddon with a drawing of colours.
